Looking Inside The Machine

LOOKING INSIDE THE MACHINE
The computer itself the hardware  has many parts, but the critical components fall into four categories
1. Processor
2. Memory
3. Input & Output Devices
4. Storage
Every type of computer contains these four types of hardware.

 The processor

The procedure of converting raw data into useful information is called processing. To perform this conversion or transformation, computer uses two components:

Processor
Memory

The processor is like the brain of computer
it organizes and carries out instructions
that come from either the user or the
software. in a personal computer, the
processor usually consists of one or
more microprocessor, which are slivers
of silicon or other material etched with many tiny electronic circuits. To process data or complete an instruction   from a user or a program, the computer pass the electricity through the circuits.
A personal computer's processor is usually a single chip or a set of contained on a circuit board. In some powerful computers, the processors consists of many chips. processor  They re mounted on the motherboard.

 Memory

Memory is like an scratch pad
inside the computer. When you
launch a program, it is loaded and run from the memory. Data loaded
into and run from the  the
memory. Data used by the
 computer program is also loaded
into the memory for fast access .
As new data enter into the
computer, it is also stored into the
 memory but only temporarily. The
most common type of memory is
 called random access memory,
 RAM.
